We offer a number of activities:
Rappelling:
rappelling from a range of heights at different sites throughout the
country.
Zip-lining: an exhilarating activity of sliding
along a cable from a waterfall - can be combined with a day of
rappelling or hiking.
All-terrain vehicle trips on exclusive
tracks throughout the country with professional drivers. Both air
conditioned and open vehicles are available.
Rope Park:
designed for groups, this activity includes rope traverses and
various rope bridges.
Rappelling and Climbing Courses: 3 to 5
day courses in the basics of rappelling and climbing -– for those
who wish to practice the sport independently. These courses do
not certify you to be a rappelling guide.
For special
events, such as Bar/Bat Mitzvahs: various outdoor programs, combined
with rappelling, climbing, rope park activities, zip-lining, etc.,
can also be given in conjunction with hiking and additional
activities such as jeeping (all-terrain vehicle trips), or cave
exploration. Activities can be done in numerous locations throughout
Israel -- Recommended: Luzit Caves (Judean Plain), Kadumim Quarry
(HaKarmel), Gey Ben-Henome valley. Activities in Jerusalem can be
combined with sight-seeing tours in the Old City or the Kotel
Tunnels. Make your Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebration or other special

A Day of Exciting Challenges in the Judean Desert with Ashdot Adventures
The jeep picks us up in Jerusalem, and we drive East, driving down into the Jordan Rift Valley. As we clear the last ridge, we stop for a panoramic view of the Dead Sea and the Mountains of Moab.
At Mitzpe Dragot we leave the asphalt and start a challenging jeep trail through the Northern Judean Desert.
We stop frequently for amazing overlooks from the top of the last line of peaks above the Dead Sea, enjoying a panorama reaching from Jerusalem in the West to Jordan in the east, as well as several short hikes.
When we arrive at Nahal Mashash, Itamar divides up the equipment among us, and teaches us the simple rudiments of rappelling. Less than an hour later, we are all in mid-air, working our way down the tall, dry waterfalls, securely harnessed and observing all the safety rules we learned! Our youngest was a little hesitant at first, so made the first descent roped in tandem with our guide- but the rest she is doing on her own- to her great pleasure! What photos and videos I got of the family that day!!
After a refreshing dip in a fresh running spring, we dug in to a great picnic (all Kosher).
Last attraction was a visit to Kumran, where we saw the caves of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the excavated village of the Essenes.
Finally, back to Jerusalem- tired but full of exciting experiences!

A Bar Mitzvah / Bat Mitzvah Adventure!
Some people might think that challenging activities aren't appropriate for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, and that the challenging attractions of rappelling (snapling), zipline or climbing don't fit that age group. This comes up especially since there are liable to be younger children in the party as well, in addition to older folks (grandparents, etc.). But the truth is, that there are a number of sites that are just right for adventurous activities fitting the interests and abilities for the age range of the entire family! These locations are easily accessible without long or difficult walking, and even young children of ages 4 to 5 as well as seniors will enjoy the activities along with the entire family and friends!
There are many suitable sites for family adventure activities. In Northern Israel / the Galil, for example: Machtzevot Kedumim near the Beit Oren forest in the Carmel. In Central Israel the Luzit Caves near Bet Shemesh and Jerusalem, and in the Judean Desert / Dead Sea area: Nahal Mashash or Nahal Tamar. In the Luzit Caves we can do rappelling (snepling), climbing and zipline. The height of the rappelling is only 16 meters, so it is not frightening (or awe inspiring) like the Ma'arat Keshet in the Galil, so that even very cautious people are willing to try it and enjoy the experience!
The zipline (zip line, zip-line or omega) located adjacent to the snapling site is very easy and comfortable to use, not requiring any activity by the user- just enjoy the ride!- and so can be used by even 3 or 4 year olds! Children who are still hesitant can glide down together with their mother or father (tandem). The zip-line is a fast and thrilling experience, but completely controlled by the experienced guide.
The climbing wall, which is also adjacent, is not to difficult. It is enough of a challenge to provide a lot of satisfaction as you overcome the force of gravity, unlike the rappelling or omega which run with it. The guide can regulate the difficulty of the climb and adjust it to the ability of the climber- to provide a genuine challenge for those desiring it, while allowing the more timid to reach the top with little exertion, in order to avoid a feeling of failure.
